Personalized Nutrient and Vitamin blood testing in Texas
Work with a registered dietitian nutritionist in Texas to review your health, discuss lab needs, and develop a personalized nutrition plan that may include targeted blood tests to check vitamin and nutrient levels.
Who May Benefit From Nutrition Testing?
Nutrition blood testing may be helpful if you have concerns about:
Prediabetes, diabetes, or high blood sugar
Insulin resistance
Difficulty losing or managing weight
Fatigue or low energy
A history of vitamin or mineral deficiencies such as vitamin D deficiency
Low iron, anemia, or low ferritin
High cholesterol or triglycerides
Women's health and nutrition concerns such as PCOS
Digestive conditions, such as IBD, Crohn's disease, ulcerative colitis, or celiac disease
A restricted diet due to kidney disease, cancer treatment, food allergies, or other medical conditions
You don't need to know which labs you need before your appointment. Your dietitian can review your health history, symptoms, medications, diet, and goals to determine which testing may be appropriate for you.

A Registered Dietitian (RD/RDN) is a licensed healthcare professional with extensive education and supervised training in nutrition. Dietitians complete a master’s degree in nutrition or a related field, 1,200+ hours of supervised practice, and a national registration exam, and maintain their credentials through continuing education. In Texas, RDs are licensed to provide evidence-based nutrition care and work with medical conditions.
In contrast, the title “nutritionist” is not regulated, meaning education, training, and experience can vary widely among people who use the title.
At Amezola Nutrition, our nutrition care is provided by Registered Dietitians (RDs/RDNs), so you can feel confident that you're working with a credentialed nutrition professional trained to provide evidence-based, individualized care.

No. Registered dietitians do not diagnose medical conditions. Nutrition-related laboratory testing is used to support nutrition assessment and care within the dietitian’s scope of practice. Your dietitian may review lab results and provide nutrition recommendations based on those results, but laboratory results are not a medical diagnosis.
If your results indicate a potential medical condition or require medical evaluation, your dietitian may recommend that you follow up with your physician or another qualified healthcare provider for diagnosis and treatment.
Nutrition counseling and laboratory review do not replace medical diagnosis or treatment from a physician or other qualified healthcare provider.
